Vesto: Investing in Spain, from €5

Vesto is a Spanish investing app backed by the Creand financial group and operated through ACapital, a securities agency supervised by the CNMV. The pitch is simple: fractional US stocks from €5, curated collections you can buy in a single click, a dollar cash account that pays interest monthly, and short video lessons so people know what they own. More than 30,000 investors in Spain use it.

Vesto’s team had the product designed. What they needed was an engineering partner to build the mobile app to that design — the explore hub, product catalog, collection purchase and rebalancing flows, portfolio and asset views, the cash account and the learning hub — and ship it to iOS and Android.

We worked screen by screen from Vesto’s design files. The Explore hub lists available products — cash account, stocks, crypto — with the day’s movement; the catalog is searchable by name or ticker; each asset opens a detail view with an intraday chart, buy and sell, and price alerts at −10%, −5%, +5%, +10% or a custom threshold.

The flows that touch money got the most attention. Buying a thematic collection shows the weight of every holding before you commit, and the purchase summary breaks out wallet balance, amount invested, fees and the total debited, so the number on the button is the number that leaves the account. Rebalancing works the same way: a proposed allocation, then one accept-and-execute action. The cash account lists each monthly interest posting as its own line.

The app shipped on iOS and Android with collections, the catalog, asset details with alerts, portfolio distribution by holding, sector and asset, the cuenta remunerada and the Aprende learning hub — all built to Vesto’s designs.

Vesto runs on a regulated stack — ACapital as the CNMV-registered agent, execution and custody through its broker partners — and the app is the front door for a community of more than 30,000 investors.
