The terms.
A plan is a block of senior engineering and design hours: $4,995 for forty, $7,995 for eighty, custom above that. Month to month — every hour visible in Linear before the invoice arrives.
Standard
40 hours of senior dev & design time. For startups and solo founders.
Pro
80 hours — double the throughput, for teams that ship weekly.
Enterprise
A dedicated team with custom hours for larger operations.
Most plans carry a one-time setup fee, scoped during the kickoff call

Kickoff call
We learn your product, stack, goals, and priorities. We also scope the one-time setup fee based on your project's complexity.
Setup & access
We get access to your repos, design files, and any existing infrastructure. Your dedicated Linear board goes up. Slack channel too (Pro/Enterprise).
First request
Add tasks to your board — features, fixes, designs, anything. Each request gets an hour estimate before we start, so you can prioritize against your monthly budget.
We ship, you track
We work through requests based on your priorities. You see time logged against each task in real time — you always know where every hour goes.
What counts as billable hours?
Only active development and design work — writing code, designing screens, code review, testing, and deployment. Meetings, standups, Slack communication, and project management are on us and never billed against your hours.
Is there a setup fee?
Most projects require a one-time setup fee to cover initial onboarding: codebase review, environment setup, CI/CD configuration, architecture planning, etc. The fee depends on your project's complexity and is scoped transparently during the kickoff call. Simple greenfield projects may have no setup fee at all.
What if I use all my hours before the month ends?
We'll flag it when you're approaching your limit so there are no surprises. You can either wait for the next billing cycle, purchase additional hours at a per-hour rate, or upgrade your plan.
What if I only use a few hours this month?
The subscription is a retainer — you're paying for dedicated availability, priority access to senior talent, and a team that knows your codebase. Even in quiet months, we're on standby. If you anticipate multiple slow months, you can pause and resume anytime.
How fast will I get my work?
Most requests are started within 24 hours and delivered within 2-5 days depending on complexity. Hour estimates are provided upfront so you can plan accordingly. Pro and Enterprise plans get priority scheduling.
How does pausing work?
If you have a quiet month, pause your subscription. Your billing cycle freezes and picks back up when you're ready. You keep any unused days in your billing cycle. There's no limit on how often you can pause.
Do unused hours roll over?
No — hours reset each billing cycle. This keeps the model simple and predictable for both sides. If you consistently don't use your hours, consider pausing or switching to a lower plan.
Is there a contract or commitment?
No long-term contracts. It's month-to-month. Cancel anytime with no questions asked. The only commitment is the one-time setup fee (if applicable), which covers onboarding regardless of how long you stay subscribed.
Not sure which block fits? The kickoff call settles it in half an hour.
