01
The brief
Dealmakers don't lose deals on price. They lose them on memory — and a CRM nobody updates.
M&A, private equity, and venture capital run on relationships and timing. But the real history of a deal — who made the introduction, what was promised, where it stalled — lives in scattered inboxes and analysts' heads, not in a CRM anyone keeps current. By the time an interaction is logged, it's a summary written from memory, days late.
The ask wasn't "another CRM." It was a CRM built specifically for dealmakers: email as the system of record, deal data unified and secure, and an AI layer that can actually answer questions about the pipeline instead of just storing it.
02
The approach
Make the inbox the source of truth, structure it for dealflow, then put AI on top.
We designed Dialllog around a connected mailbox. A user authorises Outlook, Gmail, or IMAP once; from then on, email threads attach to a deal workflow and join its activity timeline automatically — no manual logging, no copy-paste.
On top sits the structured layer built for dealmaking: contacts and companies, configurable deal workflows with stages and cards, tasks with owners and due dates, web forms that create records on submit, and reporting. DiallogAI spans all of it — ask what's overdue on a deal, who owns a relationship, or where revenue sits, and get an answer instead of a report you assemble by hand. Security was a first-class requirement throughout: encrypted at rest, multi-tenant isolation, and enforceable two-factor auth, so an investment firm's diligence is a document you send, not a scramble.
03
The outcome
One secure system of record for dealflow — trusted by 50+ boutique banks and funds.
Dialllog shipped as a multi-tenant web app used by 50+ boutique investment banks and funds across Europe, the US, and Asia. Because the mailbox feeds the timeline, a deal workflow shows the real sequence of events without anyone maintaining it, and DiallogAI turns that unified data into answers.
New team members get deal context by reading a thread, not interrogating a colleague — and the AI-ready data layer means the CRM finally earns its keep instead of rotting.
