Native apps for real-time remote control of smart heating systems
A Balkan heating manufacturer wanted to put a great app on top of decades of hardware.
ThermoFLUX makes EcoLogic boilers used across the Balkans. They needed native iOS and Android apps that let owners control heating circuits, hot water, and buffer systems in real time — and that kept working when connectivity dropped, because a lot of these systems live in rural homes.
The hardware side was complicated. The UX needed to be the opposite.

We designed for the worst signal and the busiest day.
Started with competitor analysis and stakeholder workshops (including local authorities, since heating systems carry regulatory weight). Iterated on the UI through testing cycles to make sure a non-technical homeowner could change a circuit's target temperature in one tap.
Built fully native on both platforms for real-time hardware communication. Designed an offline mode that preserves user intent and syncs cleanly when signal returns.
A polished native app that works whether the signal does or not.
Owners get intuitive real-time control over their entire heating system. Energy efficiency improves because tuning is finally easy. The offline mode kept things usable in low-connectivity areas without sacrificing data integrity.
